Re-Elect Joe Smith

Monday, July 16, 2018
Joe Smith has demonstrated over the course of time that he is laser focused on the well being of the kids of Hamilton County. He has spent countless hours in his role at YPAC helping his kids build lifelong positive life skills, setting a positive role model, mentoring and going as far and adopting 19 children of various ethnic backgrounds and bringing them into his home, keeping them from conditions not conducive to positive growth and development. He is the prototypical model of service before self.

Since being appointed to the District 3 board of education, he has worked tirelessly to focus on the kids and how the school can bring about better results in their lives and in educating children of all backgrounds, not just a few. He has taken this role as a challenge and is results oriented in this new endeavor. He studies, he observes, he listens in order to become the very best board member. And finally, he challenges not only the voters of Hixson County District 3, but all of Hamilton County to get involved; put your money where you mouth is; mentor, love and show these kids you care as a community. He is not one that operates as some do.... do as I say, not as I do...….

This is why I am totally committed to helping Joe retain this position on the school board. If you live in District 3,I strongly urge you to cast you vote for Joe Smith.

When I left my positions with those hospitals my computer access was revoked.  ... (click for more)

In response to an email I received from Senator Rand Paul (RandPac) on his One Penny Budget Plan, I contacted Senator Alexander’s and Senator Corker’s DC offices to 1) find out their approach to deficit reduction and 2) encourage them to support Senator Paul’s legislation if they don’t have a better approach.  In response, staffers at both senators’ offices stated they did ... GPS Rallies To Clip CCS In Volleyball

There’s nothing quite like the jitters and general nervousness that goes along with playing in front of the home crowd for the first time. Add to that the pressure of making a good impression on a new coach and you can see what the GPS volleyball team was going through Monday evening. Despite all the outside factors and the fact GPS was facing undefeated Chattanooga Christians, ... (click for more)

Grace Rides Momentum To Win Over Lady Bucs

Volleyball games are often times hinged on one single point late in a match.   Monday  night, however, in a hard-fought battle between Division II Class A East foes Grace Baptist Academy and Boyd-Buchanan the turning point happened early in the second game in what eventually became a 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-16) victory for the visiting Lady Eagles. ...
