Nominations Open For Chattanooga Chamber Of Commerce Spirit Of Innovation Award

Nominations are now open for the Chamber’s 2018 Spirit of Innovation Award, recognizing innovative businesses with more than $50,000 of revenue to date.

Nominate a business for Spirit of Innovation here. The award honors businesses that originated in our region and have potential to impact many people and inspire change either within one industry or across a broader spectrum.

Three Spirit of Innovation finalist companies will receive:

Finalist companies are highlighted during the Spirit of Innovation luncheon event with more than 1,000 top business leaders expected to attend including potential customers and investors.

The Chamber produces a video about each finalist company for the Spirit of Innovation luncheon. These videos – as well as raw footage – are provided to finalist companies for their promotional use.

Female Inmate Dies At Bradley County Jail Monday

A female inmate was found unresponsive at the Bradley County Jail on Monday afternoon. Correctional officers and on-site medical personnel performed life saving measures, but she was later declared dead after Bradley County EMS arrived.  The inmate was 54-year-old Fawn Zanette Brandham. Federal Appeals Court Rules In Favor Of Family With Down Syndrome Child Who Sued County Schools

The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of a couple with a Down syndrome child who sued the county schools.
